Huawei is all set to launch the Huawei Mate 10 series of smartphones which are going to pack in a list of flagship specifications.

Following the success of the Huawei Mate 9, the company aims to compete with the likes of the big guns in the market like the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.

Let’s have a look at the features, price, release date, and stuff we need to know about the Huawei Mate 10 lineup.

Huawei Mate 10: This is not a smartphone

In a teaser video, Huawei has claimed that the Huawei Mate 10 “is not a smartphone”. The smartphone is being referred to as “an intelligent machine”.

The prime highlight of the Mate 10 is going to be the AI. To make that possible, Huawei is making use of the Kirin 970 chipset which sports a dedicated neural processing unit for on-device AI capabilities.

Huawei Mate 10: Release date

Unlike others, Huawei is not too shy of revealing the release date of the Mate 10 lineup. The company has already announced that the Huawei Mate 10 and the Huawei Mate 10 Pro are going to be launched on October 16.

Huawei Mate 10: Price

The entry-level model of the Huawei Mate 10 which is going to feature 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage is tipped to be priced at CNY 4,299 which approximates to around $650 or €545. There is also going to be a bigger, beefed up variant with 6 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of internal storage. That would cost around CNY 4,899 ($740/€625) for the 128 GB model and CNY 5,599 ($850/€710) for the 256 GB unit.
