Xiaomi has just launched a completely new series of smartphones. The first device under this series is going to be Xiaomi Mi A1. The device boasts of some amazing specifications and is certainly worth paying attention.

The key highlight of the Mi A1 is the dual camera setup which is considered Flagship at least by the company. How well the camera performs in actual world is yet to be found out.

Other than the impressive camera, the Mi A1 has a curved metal unibody design and has a very skinny frame. It is certainly going to be a pretty slim device by any standards.

The rear of the device features the dual camera setup with a dual-tone flash. There is the usual fingerprint scanner at the back with Xiaomi branding at the bottom. The front of the device houses the three traditional capacitive keys which are backlit.

The rear of the device is fingerprint resistant which is one of the things worth noticing. This would mean fewer smudges and no need of a smartphone case as well.

There is a 5.5in Full HD screen with Gorilla Glass Protection. Coming back to the camera, Xiaomi is not hesitating a single bit to compare it with other smartphones.

As a matter of fact, the live streaming of the launch of the Xiaomi A1 included a part where its camera was compared with iPhone 7 Plus which is a pretty bold move by the company.
