Motorola is soon to launch the Moto X4 sometime in the month of October. The rumors market is already getting filled up with reports hinting the Moto X4 specifications way before the device’s release.
We talked about the specifications of the device in our previous article as well and, apparently, the new reports are more or less in line with our earlier prediction.
Purported details of the upcoming smartphones which were leaked earlier had many of the specs which were wrong, said the informed individual behind the reporter.
The new Moto X4 specifications appear to be more authentic and the end device would probably feature these specs only.
Moto X4 specifications
The Moto X4 has some pretty decent specifications and boasts of a very solid, all-metal design language:
- 5.2-inch, Full HD Display
- aluminum-clad, all-metal unibody design
- Android 7.1 Nougat
- Qualcomm Snapdragon
- 8 cores all running at 2.2GHz
- 4 GB of RAM
- 64 GB of internal storage
3,8003,000 mAh battery
- an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance
- dual 8-megapixel and 12-megapixel rear cameras
- 6-megapixel selfie camera
- front-mounted fingerprint scanner
The front fingerprint scanner will also recognize gestures for duplicating the functionality of the on-screen navigation buttons as well.
The Moto X4 is also going to be the first ever non-Google smartphone which will be Project Fi compatible, meaning that it would be able to switch nearly seamlessly between Sprint, T-Mobile, and other U.S. Cellular networks, as well as Wi-Fi hotspots without breaking a sweat. The device will not only be the first-ever non-Google smartphone in this category, it will also reportedly be the most affordable one.
