Amazon is reportedly working on bringing to the market a new lineup of smartphones, codenamed Ice
It is almost confirmed that we are soon going to see a new lineup of smartphones from Amazon – the Amazon Ice Smartphones, which will succeed the not so successful Amazon Fire range of smartphones back in 2014.
The latest Amazon Ice smartphones will thankfully feature Google’s apps such as Gmail and the Google Play as a whole.
This was probably the biggest reason for the failure behind the Amazon Fire smartphones.as the lack of the Google Play support kind of left the Fire devices crippled.

Reports say that it is not too far that Amazon offers the users with this new lineup.
The Ice lineup would run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat on top.

As far as the specifications go in the latest Amazon Mobile, the first Ice smartphone is rumored to sport a 5.2-inch to a 5.5-inch display, a Snapdragon 435 chipset, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage which will be expandable.
Sadly, the Amazon Ice smartphone which has come out currently does not have support for the Amazon’s digital assistant – Alexa.
