The latest leaks of the OnePlus solidify the interest OnePlus is paying towards the camera performance of their upcoming flagship – the OnePlus 5

OnePlus has already been showing off the OnePlus 5, at least on the camera front by revealing its partnership with DxO.

In an earlier tease, it was confirmed that OnePlus company has joined hands with DxO to provide the users an enhanced photography experience.

In case you do not know what DxO is, DxO is the company behind DxOMark, which is the leading benchmark provider for camera and lens image quality and ratings.

Joining hands with DxO would necessarily mean that OnePlus is going to up its game as far as the camera quality is concerned in the OnePlus 5.

If sources from the Android Authority are to be believed, the retail packaging of the OnePlus 5 is going to come with “Dual Camera. Clearer Photos” on one of the sides of the box.

Turns out that the leaks are pretty real now and it’s almost next to confirm that we would be getting a dual camera setup in the latest OnePlus 5.

Owing to the previously rumored tagline of the latest OnePlus flagship, “Focus on what matters,” this new leak has solidified the assumption.

Other than this recent leak, the OnePlus 5 is rumored to sport a 5.5-inch display, a Snapdragon 835 chipset, and different RAM variants.


Leaks also suggest that there might be a significant price hike for the upcoming OnePlus 5 when compared to the current OnePlus flagship – the OnePlus 3T.

Additionally, there are chances of a ceramic variant to be launched as well.

But again, if the OnePlus 5 turns out to be the smartphone it is being hinted, it would be a solid contender for the smartphones of the year lineup.
