Huawei Watch 2 Classic comes with a stainless steel body and leather straps, making it all the way more beautiful than its predecessor.
Huawei has launched its latest smartwatch, dubbed the Huawei Watch 2 Classic in the USA.
The smartwatch market is constantly declining and considering companies like Asus pulling their hands off completely from the smartwatch ecosystem, whether the decision of launching these smartwatches by Huawei is wise or not, is the question of the hour.
Also, the price might be a big factor in its success, as it is nowhere near the expected mid-range price. The Watch 2 Classic is priced at $369.99 – around $70 more than its silicone counterpart. One could easily go for the Moto 360 or an Apple Watch for more or less the same price. They have seen time and are tried and tested as well.
The design differences apart, there are not many differences between the two smartwatches. But we would try to cover some of the key differences which are still there:
- The classic variant does not come with LTE support
- However, it sort of covers up with that loss with the extended 3-day battery
Other specifications include:
- Android Wear 2.0
- 1.2 inch AMOLED dial with 390×390 resolution
- A Snapdragon wear 2100 processor
- 768 MB of RAM
- 4 GB of internal storage
- Bluetooth 4.1
- WiFi 802.11 b/g/n
- IP68 certification
We will make a complete review of the Huawei Watch 2 Classic pretty soon. But as far as the specifications are concerned, it is for sure going to be an amazing smartwatch.
The quality of the leather strap might be a question for some of the potential buyers, though the IP68 certification as claimed by the company solidifies the durability of the Huawei Watch 2 Classic.
